We also offer a comprehensive equine service, including annual wellness exams, lameness assessments, radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy and power float dentistry.
Our “A-class” hospital is fully computerised, allowing all our patients’ records to be accessed at the push of a button. We have state-of-the-art diagnostics including radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, electrocardiography and a comprehensive in-house laboratory, which allows us to provide full blood testing, urinalysis and microscopic examination of lumps, skin scrapes and ear swabs to name a few.
At Port Macquarie Veterinary Hospital we are strong believers that animals experience pain in a very similar way to humans and therefore we insist on providing pain relief equivalent to that given in human hospitals. We undertake all routine as well as advanced surgical procedures such as external skeletal fixation for fractures in many species.
