Haylee Shepherd - Veterinary Nurse

(Cert II Animal Studies)

Haylee began her nursing career in 2011, while completing certificate II in animal studies at Oxley Highway vets. After demonstrating nursing potential, Haylee continued to work for Oxley Highways vets on a casual basis. In 2016, once knowing veterinary nursing was her calling, Haylee began her certificate IV in vet nursing. 

Shortly after, Haylee took some time off to raise her young family.  

Now she has returned to the industry and plans to complete her certificate IV in vet nursing. Haylee has a special interest in surgical nursing and is hoping to one day undertake her diploma in surgical nursing. She is also keen to expand her knowledge in equine nursing. Haylee enjoys building rapport and forming relationships with clients and their pets as well as her wonderful team members. 

In her spare time, she likes to adventure with her husband and two daughters, spend time with her great dane, Frankie and she would like to learn to ride a horse.
